FAQ
Q: What is the dress code?
A: For the most current attire information, please see our Club Policies.
Q: Where can I use my cell phone?
A: The use of cellular phones is permitted in the Lobby Alcove. Cell phones may also be used in private function rooms at the discretion of the sponsor.
Q: Where can I use my laptop?
A: Laptops may be used for extended periods of time in the Lobby Alcove and in private function rooms at the discretion of the sponsor.
Q: Where is parking located?
A: Secure on-site parking is available to Members and guests in the Tower Square parking garage. Complimentary parking is available to Members and guests of the Club by simply bringing your parking ticket into the Club for validation. For easy exit, please be sure to follow these recommendations:
- the validation stamp is on the bar code side of the ticket
- the validation stamp has been properly applied
- the ticket is NOT placed near a cell phone
- the ticket is inserted properly into the machine as directed upon exit
Q: Are children welcome?
A: The Colony Club welcomes children of all ages and offers a variety of family-friendly events throughout the year.
Q: Are reservations required for dining?
A: Reservations for lunch or dinner are recommended. Dinner orders should be placed by 8:00 p.m. Members may make reservations using our online reservation system.
Q: Are there special rates for seniors?
A: There is a special dues category for Members who are at least 60 years of age and retired or those at least 65 years of age and actively employed.
Q: What is the tipping policy?
A: The Colony Club maintains a no tipping policy for all staff.
Q: What is a club charge?
A: An 18% surcharge is added to each individual a la carte dining slip for service, functions, and Member activities. A 20% surcharge is added to all private and Member functions.
Q: Do I have to be Member to utilize the facilities?
A: Yes, if you are considering joining the Club and would like to experience it before hand, please contact Membership Services at (413) 732-4101.
